A wallpaper concept for a child’s room. I wanted to create a pattern that is visually stimulating, discreet from a distance, and interesting close up. Children will also find it fun and engaging to search for all of the letters when learning their ABCs.
In my initial sketches of the concept, I knew that I wanted to use some form of lines connecting to gridded dots. After a few different versions, I proceeded with one that only uses seven “shapes” to create every letter.
